It also enables organizations to advertise their events.

Geographical area covered: Southern Ontario, with primary emphasis on the Greater Toronto area.

Born in Toronto, Sybil was educated at the University of Toronto, where she received a B.A. and MBA. After several years as an entrepreneur and in management in the corporate world, she realized that individuals or organizations planning events, lacked information regarding potential conflicts for their events. With her background in information synthesis and special events planning, plus a degree in business, Sybil decided to establish her own publishing company to serve this need. Her company, Pearl Publishing Inc. was incorporated in 1990. In December of that year, the first issue was launched at a party at Toronto's SkyDome.
